	David`s Victories...
1.	And after this it came to be that Dawid smote the Philistines, and humbled them, and took Gath and its towns from the hand of the Philistines.
2.	And he smote the Mo'abites, and the Mo'abites became Dawid's servants, and brought presents.
3.	And Dawid smote Hadadezer sovereign of Tsobah as far as Hamath, as he went to establish his power by the River Euphrates.
4.	And Dawid took from him one thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers. And Dawid also hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left of them for one hundred chariots.
5.	And when Aram of Damascus came to help Hadadezer sovereign of Tsobah, Dawid smote twenty-two thousand of Aram,
6.	and Dawid stationed men in Aram of Damascus, and the Arameans became Dawid's servants, and brought presents. And YHWH saved Dawid wherever he went.
7.	And Dawid took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Yerushalayim.
8.	And from Tibhath and from Kun, cities of Hadadezer, Dawid brought a large amount of bronze, with which Shelomoh made the bronze Sea, and the columns, and the vessels of bronze.
9.	And when To'u sovereign of Hamath heard that Dawid had smitten all the army of Hadadezer sovereign of Tsobah,
10.	he sent Hadoram his son to Sovereign Dawid, to ask peace of him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and smote him - because Hadadezer had been fighting against To'u - with all kinds of objects of gold, and silver, and bronze.
11.	Sovereign Dawid also set these apart to YHWH, along with the silver and gold that he had brought from all these nations, from Edom, and from Mo'ab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amaleq.
12.	And Abishai son of Tseruyah smote eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt,
13.	and he put watch-posts in Edom, and all the Edomites became Dawid's servants. And YHWH saved Dawid wherever he went.

14.	So Dawid reigned over all Yisra`el, and he was doing right-ruling and righteousness to all his people.
15.	And Yo'ab son of Tseruyah was over the army, and Yehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder,
16.	and Tsadoq son of Ahitub and Abimelek son of Ebyathar were the priests, and Shawsha was the scribe,
17.	and Benayahu son of Yehoyada was over the Kerethites and the Pelethites. And the sons of Dawid were chiefs at the sovereign's side.
